Levi and Mason started preschool this week. It's Levi's 4th year going to school but Mason's first. We went to the open house last Friday (Debbie watched Tyler).
Check out Mason's eyebrows here--apparently, he can pull those eyebrows down and frown just like my Grandma McNeil could. I see this face a LOT.
My first three brothers picture where they're all three looking at me (or almost!).
The boys love messing with this water fountain at school. They both look so big here. Ashley bought them the matching polos. I really need to get them some UNC stuff--the proportion of Tiger gear is to TarHeel gear is out of whack!
Ready to go in and meet their teachers.
Mason was really unsure of going to school. We've been to Sunday school a few times at church so he could get used to his room--but it still took a good bit of persuading to get a picture. He made a little caterpillar at his open house.
Levi's teachers had him do a scavenger hunt and then gave him a BlowPop as a prize. I think this is going to be a candy classroom--they gave out treat bags on the first day. Oh goodness!
Here are the boys leaving to go to their actual first day of school, this past Tuesday.

Someone is happy to be back with his friends!
This picture captures the moment perfectly. Levi the big guy and Mason looking up at "IB" (what he calls Levi most of the time). I dropped Levi off first because I knew it would be easier (and good for Mason to see that Levi was just down the hall).
I didn't get a picture of Mason in his room because I decided to just quickly tell him bye and let Mrs. Sharon take care of him. Mason told me when he got home, "I cried, Mama." I told him it's OK to miss me. He did fine, though--was sitting on the carpet listening to a story when I got there.
Back at home, the boys resumed their normal antics. They've been playing a lot together lately--and even though they still fight, they seem to really enjoy having each other. They climbed into this box on their own. So cute!
I'm looking forward to having Tuesday and Thursday mornings with just Tyler. This week Mason only went on Tuesday because he had a yucky cold on Thursday. We all have it now, even Tyler. And so the school year starts and I still haven't found that bubble to put my kids in to avoid colds!
